Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Security Installation Technician in Edmond, OK to install, service, and troubleshoot cutting-edge smart home technology in customers’ homes. You will train on leading products and manage inventory with an owner-operator mindset, delivering excellent service and enabling customers to enhance security and convenience.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset or related experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales.
• Customer-first attitude and ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical aptitude from cable/satellite install, pest control, construction or solar backgrounds is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home technology in customer homes.
• Explain and demonstrate system capabilities and operation to customers.
• Manage and service inventory and assets with a business owner mindset.
• Rely on honesty and integrity to provide what customers are seeking for peace of mind.
