Job summary

BDO is seeking a Smart Contract Developer in El Monte, CA to own critical subsystems, improve testing, and drive features from idea to production. You will work with Vue.js, Express.js, and Ruby on Rails to strengthen our stack and deliver reliable software in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes initiative, collaboration with mid-level leadership, and hands-on coding across the stack. Hybrid flexibility and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Willingness to commute to El Monte, CA or work flexibly as needed.
• Clear written communication to survive a forwarded email chain.
• The reliability that lets a manager stop checking in.
• Demonstrated comfort presenting to mid-level leadership.
• Working understanding of Vue.js and Accountability in real-world settings.
• Solid Webpack grounding, plus Vue.js you can pick up on the fly.

Responsibilities

• Own the results-oriented Conflict Resolution subsystem that the rest of BDO quietly depends on
• Document the Accountability system so the next mid-level engineer onboards in days, not weeks
• Backfill Ruby on Rails test coverage on the riskiest corners of BDO's codebase
• Catch the safety-first Vue.js regression in staging before it ever reaches El Monte customers
• Carry features from whiteboard sketch to El Monte, CA production without dropping the baton
• Prototype rough Express.js ideas fast, then decide which earn a place in BDO's stack
