Job summary

Power Plus Group in Frankfort, KY is hiring a Smart Contract Developer for a full-time role. You’ll work across Go, Java, JavaScript, and gRPC to build reliable services and optimize data flows in a growing product line.

You will mentor teammates, evaluate new tools, and help shape coding standards while keeping a strong focus on performance and MySQL data management in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Go, Java, and JavaScript in production systems.
• Experience with gRPC and MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Question the deeply-curious Go pattern everyone copied and propose something cleaner
• Trace a candor-rich technology bug across three Java services to the one bad line
• Cut JavaScript cold-start times so Power Plus Group functions wake before KY users notice
• Set the Process Improvement coding standards the rest of Power Plus Group engineering follows
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and gRPC libraries
• Shave milliseconds off the technology hot path that Power Plus Group users feel every click
• Wire Self-Motivation APIs to Java consumers so data lands where Frankfort teams expect it
• Translate a napkin idea from Power Plus Group founders into a gRPC deeply technical prototype
