Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an engineer with a BS in Engineering to join our project teams in Monroe, LA. Responsibilities include planning and executing project completion, preparing specifications for materials, and assisting in cost estimation and scheduling.

Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience and an ABET-accredited program is preferred. Strong attention to detail, good communication, and ability to read and understand specifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; ABET accreditation preferred.
• MS in Engineering is a plus; 0+ years experience with MS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing project completion and punch list.
• Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
• Preparing invoices.
• Submitting O&M manuals.
• Assisting in development of full estimate.
• Participating in KPR (Key Project Review).
• Managing coordination & detailing logs & schedule.
• Managing schedule updates.
• Managing productivity reports.
• Identifying value-added solutions & cost savings methods.
