Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Route Trainee to join our team in Winston-Salem. The role involves delivering and merchandising products, stocking, rotating, and setting up displays, and using a handheld device to place orders or run invoices.

You will drive a company vehicle, stock coolers, and support sales with promotions while ensuring accuracy in transactions and coordination with customers and co-workers. A high school diploma and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives and maneuvers a truck under 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight.
• Fills and merchandises coolers, displays, racks, shelves per PBV standards.
• Delivers and places orders/runs invoices in accounts; creates POS signage.
• Sells and executes all promotions; services customers as scheduled.
• Maintains accurate end-of-day cash and invoices signed by customers.

We’d love to receive your application and talk with you about your interest in the position if the overview below describes you.**Route Trainee** **Role Overview**The Route Trainee is responsible for delivering and merchandising products, which includes placing orders, stocking, rotating, and setting up shelves, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, storage room organization, and product movement to the sales floor. The job also requires the ability to use a handheld to order products and/or run invoices.**Day-to-Day Responsibilities*** Drives and maneuvers a truck having a gross vehicle weight of under 26,000 pounds.
