McDonald’s franchise restaurant in Lake City, FL is hiring a small equipment technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen and support equipment ensuring safe, efficient operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Compensation begins at $21 per hour with benefits including paid time off, training, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment according to schedules
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions on grills, fryers, toasters, refrigerators/freezers, ice machines, beverage and McCafé equipment, HVAC systems and exhaust hoods
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs within skill level
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris

Requirements:

The small equipment technician at a McDonald's restaurant organization is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing restaurant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
