Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Small Engine Service Technician in Spokane, WA to perform maintenance and repair of small engines and related equipment.

You will operate all equipment, provide accurate estimates, and maintain safety and records to ensure quality service. The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and follow manufacturer guidelines for maintenance.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs small engines and related equipment.
• Operates all equipment and remains available to use it as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance such as checking oil and fluids.
• Maintains inventory records for repairs, parts, and inventory.
• Inspects, tests and diagnoses malfunctions.
• Provides prompt and accurate estimates and expedites priority jobs.
• Ensures repairs meet manufacturer guidelines and maintenance schedules.
• Keeps accurate, organized records.
• Maintains clean, safe, productive work area.
• Performs other duties as required.

Salary Range: $17.25 To $28.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

• -Responsible for maintenance and repair of small engines
• -Operates all equipment used, and be available to use this equipment when needed.
• -Performs preventive maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels
• -Maintains inventory records on repairs made, parts ordered, and parts inventory.
• -Accurately inspect, test and diagnose malfunctions
• -Give prompt, accurate estimate and expedite priority jobs
• -Ensure repairs are safe and within manufacture guidelines, encourage repairs that follow manufacturer's schedules of maintenance
• -Maintain accurate, organized and thorough records
• -Maintain clean, safe, neat and productive work area
• -Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• - High school diploma and two years’ work experience in mechanical operation, repair and maintenance of small engine equipment or similar field experience
• - Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds above shoulders without assistance
• - Working knowledge of safety practices and procedures while making mechanical repairs; knowledge of various machines; working knowledge of maintenance and repair
• - Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with accuracy and speed, ability to create effective working relationships with employees; verbal/written communication
• - Familiarity with chain and blade sharpening
• - Analytical, troubleshooting, and testing skills
• - Facilitate standing, stooping, bending and kneeling for prolonged periods of time
