Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles and equipment ranging from lawnmowers to snow gear. The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics and customer communication.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair small engines, perform routine maintenance, keep records, and work safely in a fast-paced environment. Effective teamwork and flexibility to work evenings/weekends are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in small engine repair.
• Knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and repair of small engines.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair small engines including lawn mowers, generators, chainsaws, and other equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and filter changes.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment to determine problems and necessary repairs.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for repairs and maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each piece of equipment.
• Work with customers to explain repairs and maintenance required and provide recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
