Job summary

All Seasons Lawn Equipment in Gulfport, MS is seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to service residential and commercial outdoor power equipment. The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair two- and four-stroke engines, perform assemblies and reconditioning of zero-turn mowers, and work with a variety of tools.

This role requires own tools, ability to lift 75 lbs, and good written communication. You will maintain service records, set up pre-delivery inspections, and support parts and service

Qualifications

• Must have own tools (See attached tool list)
• High school diploma or GED; trade certification preferred; 2 years equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift at least 75lbs repeatedly
• Computer skills such as navigating company’s business system, dealer parts and service portals
• Good written communication and documentation skills; ability to interpret manuals

Responsibilities

• Small engine repair (2cycle/4cycle engines)
• Assembly & reconditioning of residential and commercial zero-turn mowers, trimmers, chain saws, edgers and blowers.
• Perform diagnostic inspections as directed – identify the cause of failure, determine the correct course of repair and acquire the proper tools and parts needed to accomplish the repair.
• Perform set-up and pre-delivery inspections for new or used equipment
• Maintain good working records for time/parts/supplies during repairs
• Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.

Hours
Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
Saturday: 8am to 12pm (March to October)

All Seasons Lawn Equipment is currently hiring a Small Engine Mechanic. The right candidate should have basic working knowledge of mowers and outdoor power equipment. He/she will be required to independently perform basic/complex diagnostic and service repair.

Job Requirements:

Must have their own tools (See attached tool list)

A high school diploma or GED equivalent
Technical/Trade School Certification – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in equipment maintenance and Basic Service Technical Certification preferred
The ability to lift at least 75lbs repeatedly
Computer skills such as navigating company’s business system, dealer parts and service portals
Good communication skills – Must be able to compose/send e-mails. Basic writing skills that include proper grammar/spelling. Ability to interpret parts/service manuals.
Valid Mississippi State driver’s license
