Center for Family Life in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY seeks a dynamic Small Business Developer (Spanish-English bilingual) to join the Cooperative Development Program. This full-time, on-site role focuses on organizing communities to form worker cooperatives, providing governance guidance, and expanding development efforts.
The candidate will deliver hands-on business management support, facilitate workshops, manage projects, and participate in outreach and reporting.

Compensation Rate: $53,000 to $60,000 year
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM, with frequent evening meetings.
Location: Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY (Full on-site).

Our Cooperative Development Program (CDP) is a nationally recognized leader in developing worker cooperative businesses in low-income communities. Since 2006, we have launched 29 worker-owned cooperatives, supported over 600 worker-owners, and trained 50+ organizations in cooperative development. Together, we’re creating a new economy where workers are at the heart of the system.
We’re looking for a dynamic and mission-driven Small Business Developer to join our team, eager to make a difference by supporting men and women, fostering economic equity, and shaping thriving small businesses.
As a Small Business Developer, you’ll play a key role in strengthening worker cooperatives and advancing CFL’s initiatives.
