The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking Registered Veterinary Technicians for various service lines within the College of Veterinary Medicine. You will work with top clinicians, having a direct impact on the quality of care received by animal patients. Responsibilities include conducting exams, administering treatments, and educating clients. The position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, fostering professional growth and development.

Starting salary ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, with additional incentives available.

Competenze

• Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology Program.
• Licensure as a Registered Veterinary Technician in the State of Missouri, or eligibility to obtain within 6 months.

Mansioni

• Conduct initial exam of animal, taking vital signs and gathering medical histories.
• Calm and safely handle patients, preparing them for treatments.
• Provide emergency first aid and monitor critical patients.
• Educate clients on treatment plans and overall wellness.
• Participate in teaching veterinary students.
