Job summary

The Vet Service in Wisconsin seeks an Associate Veterinarian for a well-established small animal practice. The role can be full-time or part-time and offers a varied clinical caseload including preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, internal medicine and surgery.

You will work with a skilled team in a modern facility with weekday hours and no weekend shifts, focusing on client communication, thorough patient care, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary institution.
• Wisconsin veterinary license current or obtainable.
• DEA registration maintained as required.
• At least one year of veterinary practice experience preferred.
• Strong medical, surgical, dental and client communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and develop diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Perform routine surgical, dental, and medical procedures to a high clinical standard.
• Guide pet owners through treatment recommendations with clear and considerate communication.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records throughout each stage of care.
• Contribute to efficient daily clinical operations while supporting colleagues across the practice.
