Job summary

The Vet Service seeks an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a busy multi-doctor practice. The role emphasizes surgery, comprehensive medical work-ups, preventative care, and building long-term client relationships within an established team.

With a healthy caseload spanning wellness visits, diagnostics, medical cases, dentistry, and orthopaedic exposure, you will contribute ideas on equipment and resources while continuing education and professional development are

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Current Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• At least one year of veterinary practice experience preferred.
• Strong medical, diagnostic, surgical and dental capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with confidence communicating with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnostic investigations.
• Plan and manage treatment; supervise routine surgical and dental procedures.
• Educate clients clearly on diagnoses, preventive care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and prescribe medications per requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure efficient patient care.
