Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking an experienced General Practitioner with strong surgical skills to join our veterinary hospital in New Jersey. You will provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including preventive medicine, diagnostics, and routine soft tissue surgeries.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in small animal practice, proficiency in medicine and surgery, and excellent communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in small animal practice.
• Proficiency in general medicine and surgery.
• Ability to perform routine soft tissue surgeries independently.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and client education skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for canine and feline patients.
• Perform wellness examinations, preventative care, and vaccinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, cystotomies, hernia repairs, and other general surgeries.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and treatment plans.
• Develop and communicate treatment recommendations to pet owners.
• Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient care and client service.
