Job summary

TRISTAR is seeking a skilled SLQ-32 PIT Engineering Technician to support refurbishment, upgrade, and maintenance of shelters for SLQ-32 radar systems at NSWC Crane. The role requires a mechanically inclined, self-motivated individual who can work independently in a hands-on technical environment.

The ideal candidate will have basic electronics knowledge, SLQ-32 radar experience, and the ability to read drawings and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• Must have basic electronics knowledge.
• Experience with SLQ-32 radar systems.
• Ability to read drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Fiber optics certification preferred; solder certification a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux is a plus; AA degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• System setup and teardown.
• System level PIT testing.
• PIT report generation.
• (V)6 system integration with the (V)7.
• Support other PIT/Depot tasking as needed.
