Job summary

Relient Health is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a Pediatric Outpatient Clinic in Southern Pines, NC. You will work under a licensed SLP to deliver therapy, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on children's communication goals.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an SLPA program meeting NC requirements.
• Current NC SLPA Registration or eligible to obtain.
• New graduates welcome.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively under supervised SLP supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services under the direction of a licensed SLP.
• Implement individualized therapy activities to improve articulation, language, social communication, and functional communication.
• Document patient progress using EMR and report observations to the supervising SLP.
• Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, OTs, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated pediatric care.
• Reinforce treatment strategies and home programs with children and families as directed by the supervising SLP.
