Proficio Therapy Services in California seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support evaluation, treatment, and clinical activities of speech therapy to ensure high-quality patient care.

Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, you will implement treatment plans, conduct screenings, document progress, and help prepare therapy materials across our growing network.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant/Communicative Disorders or related field.
• 1 year of verifiable professional SLPA experience within last 3 years (residency or practicum allowed).
• Valid California License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.

Responsabilidades

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapeutic interventions that improve clients' communication abilities.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans for clients with speech and language disorders.
• Conduct speech and language screenings as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Document the client's progress toward treatment goals and report this information to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Provide direct therapy services to clients as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Prepare therapy materials and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as set out by the state licensing board and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Educación

Bachelor’s or associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant/Communicative Disorders or related field

1 year of verifiable SLPA experience within the last 3 years

California SLPA license issued by the California SLP/ Audiology Board
