Job summary

Elite Medical Staffing is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Denver, CO. The role offers $60/hour on a contract basis, with Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm shifts and a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a dedicated SNF setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of SLP experience and an active CO license, with reliable transportation and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in Colorado is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an SLP in a clinical setting.
• Reliability, good attendance, and transportation to facilities.

Responsibilities

• Record patient data in EMR and monitor vital signs.
• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy aligned with goals and resident needs.
• Evaluate swallowing and suggest dietary adjustments.
• Document progress and outcomes accurately.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques.
• Comply with facility policies and professional standards.
