Job summary

Merakey is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for our Baton Rouge, LA ABA location. The role offers a $54.43 hourly rate with the flexibility to set your own schedule and deliver evidence-based speech, language, swallowing and cognitive therapies.

You will assess clients, develop IEP-based plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. A master’s degree and SLP licensure are required; autism experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Performs clinical assessments and identifies client needs.
• Measures progress with appropriate tests and recordings.
• Educates clients and families about deficits and IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessments; identifies clients needs.
• Document, prepare/revises IEP and progress notes.
• Analyze client needs and administer appropriate care per IEP.
• Maintain records and complete clinical documentation.
• Educate client/family and involve them in therapy plans.
