Job summary

HealthPRO Heritage is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN coverage in Lexington, KY. The role includes evaluating speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders, providing evidence-based therapy, and adjusting treatment plans as patients progress.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across facilities such as nursing homes, hospitals and schools, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate documentation in an ethical, compliant practice.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certification: Current ASHA CCC-SLP licensure/certification.
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate speech, language, voice, and swallowing using standardized tests and observations.
• Treatment and Education: Deliver evidence-based therapies, monitor progress, and educate patients and families.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
