Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a skilled Slot Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic gaming machines. You will diagnose faults, repair at board level, and train junior technicians in technical repair methods.

Responsibilities include testing with oscilloscopes and multimeters, soldering tasks, and following detailed repair manuals. You will work on site, handling physical tasks such as moving machines and operating radios to communicate with the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Thorough knowledge of the mechanics, electronics, and electrical functions of gaming machines.
• Two years of bench repair, slots or related field preferred.
• Must be able to work with hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch while repairing gaming machines.
• Must be able to push and pull machines and maneuver weights up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain required licenses and/or certifications.

• Read, understand, and accurately apply information contained within repair manuals and other equipment-related materials.
• Carry and effectively communicate by two-way radio.
• Maintain a working knowledge of new slot products/equipment.

• Must be able to push and pull machines and maneuver weights up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
