Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of all Electronic gaming devices.
• Performs major and minor, scheduled and nonscheduled repairs on slot machines.
• Maintains accurate records identifying repairs of department equipment in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Promotes positive public relations internally and externally.
• Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
• Verifying and repairing all related gaming equipment.
• Responsible for customer relations.
• Performing repair to slot machines.
• Handles customer relations and minor customer disputes – Ensures the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Use of screwdriver, hand-held radio, and other slot related supplies.

Qualifications

• Technical background in repair with knowledge of slots and related gaming equipment preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 2 years’ experience in slot technical field preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming licenses as determined by the Mississippi Gaming Commission for the position.
• Knowledgeable of repair slot machine functions. Ability to read simple instructions. Ability to do some troubleshooting. Ability to complete slot-related paperwork with a minimum of errors. Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations. Good communication skills. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
• Ability to do assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
• Always maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude. Have complete knowledge of all events and promotional activities.
