Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a Gaming Technician responsible for comprehensive management of slot machines and related gaming assets. Responsibilities include installation, relocation, removal, configuration, repair, and ongoing maintenance of casino equipment and signage.

The role requires knowledge of slot machine functionality, electronics/mechanics, and the ability to maintain detailed repair records.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the slot gaming technical field.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, various shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of electronic circuitry or mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of slot machine functionality and play matrix.
• Experience repairing table games equipment such as card shufflers, chippers, signage, and reader boards.
• Ability to maintain accurate repair/maintenance records.
• Proficiency reading manuals, maintenance instructions, and related documents.
• Knowledge of cabling and networking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to safely use tools and power equipment.
• Effective communication to respond to inquiries from staff and guests.
• Preferred: Experience with Konami Synkros system.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services casino assets including machines, lights, bill validators, monitors, and signage.
• Installs, relocates, removes, and converts slot machines per policy and controls.
• Verifies machine configurations against documentation.
• Collaborates with staff to resolve guest issues and jackpots.
• Maintains appearance and cleanliness of all machines.
• Uses personal device for job tasks and documentation as required.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Supports guest service recovery and operations as needed.
