The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to deliver models under deadlines. You will prototype in C++/C# on Windows using Visual Studio and Excel for data analysis, in a fast-paced, regulated gaming environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in applied mathematics, probability, and/or combinatorics.
• Gaming industry experience is desirable but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with C++, C#, or a similar object-oriented programming language.
• Familiarity with Windows programming environment, including Visual Studio.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prove math models for slot games that demonstrate game probabilities and return to player via theoretical calculation and/or simulation.
• Code, test, and debug simulations of slot games to gather statistics and verify accuracy of math models.
• Collaborate with software engineers and math test engineers to ensure math models are properly implemented and compliant with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with other mathematicians and game designers to brainstorm new game mechanics and to determine mathematical feasibility of concept math models.
• Develop an understanding of competitive products and technologies.
