Qualifications

• Experience operating slitting machines preferred; training may be provided.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math with accuracy.
• Comfortable standing for long shifts; capable of handling large rolls of material.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate slitting machinery to cut plastic film to precise widths and lengths.
• Monitor production to ensure straight cuts and proper winding; adjust as needed.
• Perform quality checks and document production data (material usage, scrap, quantities).
• Load/unload rolls safely using hoist or lift equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and material inconsistencies during conversion.
