Continental Cup Company LLC in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Slitter Rewinder Operator to convert large rolls of paper stock into customer-specific widths while maintaining quality, production, and safety standards.

The role requires operating slitter rewinder machines, reviewing production schedules, and ensuring correct materials and dimensions. A High School Diploma or GED and manufacturing experience are preferred, with potential forklift experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Experience with paper converting, slitting, rewinding, printing, packaging, or paper cup production is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read tape measures and production specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout a 12-hour shift when required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter rewinder machines according to production specifications.
• Review work orders and production schedules to ensure correct materials and dimensions.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust settings to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Inspect rolls for defects including wrinkles, tears, improper widths, and winding issues.
• Measure and verify roll widths, diameters, and quality standards.
• Change blades, cores, and rolls during setups and changeovers.
• Package, label, and prepare finished rolls for the next production process.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report mechanical problems to maintenance.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and a clean work area.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and company procedures.
