Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Slitter Operator to set up and run slitter lines, ensuring quality and safety on the shop floor. You will read gauges, maintain records, and input data into SAP, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires manual dexterity, basic math, and a team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training will be provided, and safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• Read simple measurements, gauges and meters.
• Maintain production records and data entry accuracy.
• Follow safety rules and work instructions in a manufacture environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates slitter according to procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and document equipment performance.
• Record output results and perform yardage checks.
• Perform equipment change-overs and splices.
• Instruct trainees in slitter operation and record-keeping.
• Enter data into SAP and participate in continuous improvement projects.
