MCC is seeking a Slitter Machine Operator to support our premium labels production. Prior experience is not required but beneficial; safe handling of rolls, seam work, and data entry are integral to daily tasks.

Responsibilities include ensuring print and seam quality, splicing, and proper palletization while maintaining accuracy in Globetek data entries. The role requires physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Formación

• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel, and touch; reaching with arms and hands; talking and hearing.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Visual requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus

Responsabilidades

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during the splicing procedure.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly so as not to cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
