Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Slitter/Production Helper to support operators in a manufacturing shop environment. You will assist with the operation of slitting machines and help ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators with setup and operation of slitting machines.
• Transport and prepare materials for production.
• Check coils according to work orders, including width, thickness, and coil identification.
• Assist with machine setup and adjustments.
• Perform basic calculations and measurements according to work orders.
• Inspect steel strip for surface and edge quality and report any issues.
• Assist with feeding material through the production line.
• Apply strapping and assist with unloading finished coils.
• Change scrap materials and keep necessary production supplies stocked.
• Maintain a clean and organized production area.
• Follow all safety procedures and inspect equipment as required.
• Report equipment issues, defects, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks when instructed and properly trained.

SLITTER / PRODUCTION HELPER

Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Position: Long-Term Opportunity
