Shurtape Technologies, LLC in Hickory, NC seeks a Slitter Operator to set up and operate slitter lines, ensuring quality and adherence to safety and work instructions. You will follow shop floor orders to produce consistent slit products and maintain production records.
You will troubleshoot equipment, participate in cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives, and train trainees in slitter operation and record keeping. Experience with SAP data entry and reading measurements is a plus.

The Slitter Operator sets up and operates a manual slitter and/or automatic slitter and associated packing lines. This position follows safety rules and work instructions while fulfilling shop floor work orders to achieve consistent quality of slit products; maintains production records on simple forms; troubleshooting and problem-solving; and participates in activities designed to improve quality or lower manufacturing costs.
