Job summary

Bryce Corporation is seeking a manufacturing teammate to support slit roll production. The role involves gathering materials, reading production orders, and packing finished rolls to customer specifications. You will assist with loading, unloading, and palletizing, while maintaining safe work practices.

Night shift requirements include working 12-hour nights, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, and strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Interprets information on the Slit/Finishing Production Order to obtain job number, trays, slip sheets and pallet type.
• Locates and/or orders pallets and cores for the job, gathers trays, slip sheets and cartons as needed.
• Inspects finished slit rolls for print, lamination or slitting defects.
• Bags and moves slit rolls from unloader shafts to correct pallet or carton (23–75 lb range).
• Packs out slit rolls to customer specifications (trays, slip sheets and layers aligned).
• Uses manual pallet jack to move finished pallets into aisles for pickup.
• Operates shrink wrapper as needed.
• Operates trim baler.
• Machine and/or plant housekeeping.
• Assists operator in loading/unloading of material.
• Operates machine during operator breaks and as back-up.
• Operates Intermac scanner.
• Operates Wizard program.
• Cúts cores as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary

Gathers, builds and orders supplies as determined by the production order and/or customer specifications. Bags and packs out finished slit rolls according to production order and assists operator in the loading and unloading process.

Key Accountabilities

• Interprets information provided on the Slit and/or Finishing Production Order to obtain the job number, trays, slip sheets and pallet type
• Locates and/or orders pallets and cores for the job, gathers trays, slip sheets and cartons as needed
• Inspects finished slit rolls for print, lamination or slitting defects
• Bags and moves slit rolls from the unloader shafts to correct pallet or carton (approximate weights range from 23 to 75 pounds)
• Packs out slit rolls to customer specifications (trays, slip sheets and layers aligned)
• Uses manual pallet jack to pull finished pallets into aisles for pickup
• Operates shrink wrapper as needed
• Operates trim baler
• Machine and/or plant housekeeping
• Assists operator in the loading and unloading of the material
• Operates machine during operator breaks and as back-up
• Operates Intermac scanner
• Operates Wizard program
• Cuts cores as needed
• Other duties as assigned
