Chobani is seeking a Sleeving Packager for the C Shift (6:00PM–6:30AM) with every other weekend commitment. You will label, bag, and inspect yogurt cup sleeves, maintain clean totes, and document production data. The role requires physical work, teamwork, and adherence to GMP and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of production experience; college degree preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; good communication and teamwork.
• Flexible to work various shifts and extended days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sleeves for defects while machine is running and bag label cups.
• Receive empty totes, clean with solution, and deliver to lines using pallet jack.
• Perform re-work by gathering unused cups for sterilization.
• Keep work area clean and finish cleaning the line at shift end.
• Record bags produced and time taken to produce them.
• Complete paperwork at shift end with date, time, shift, tote, and flavor code.
• Ensure all cups are removed from stacker and bagger at shift end.
• Wash bag vessel and verify cleanliness with paperwork.

Sleeving Packager - Grade 3 - C Shift - 6:00PM - 6:30AM, Every Other Weekend Required

A Packager in the Sleeving Department is responsible for labeling and bagging yogurt cups, while ensuring that there are no defects and that the totes are kept clean.

Responsibilities

• When the machine is in operation, inspect sleeves for defects, put sleeves in bag and put bag in tote
• Receive empty totes and use cleaning solution to clean totes, utilize pallet jack to deliver clean totes to lines as needed
• Perform re-work (gather unused cups to be sterilized) as needed
• Clean work area periodically, and clean entire line at the end of the shift
• Record number of bags produced and the time it took to produce them
• When tote is full, complete paperwork to include date, time, shift, tote number and flavor code number
• At the end of the shift, ensure all cups are out of the stacker and bagger
• Wash bag vessel with paper towel and alcohol solution at the beginning and end of each shift; complete all paperwork verifying vessel is cleaned
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow Chobani safety procedures
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices

The salary range for this full-time position is$21.00-$26.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
