Job summary

Chobani is hiring a Sleeving Operator in New York to ensure lines run productively and sleeves are applied correctly. You will report to the production supervisor and collaborate with the team to meet sleeving goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Specialists, Technician, Lead, and Supervisor.
• Trouble shoot machine issues and minimize downtime.
• Produce quality products and meet sleeving goals.
• Complete sleeving production paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Verify final sleeve, cup, and cleaning, obtaining proper sign‑offs.
• Train and share knowledge with team members to improve quality and safety.
• Contribute to implementing sleeving department solutions and ideas.
• Assist Team Lead with breaks and operating equipment as production needs dictate.
• Relieve sleeving positions during PTO/breaks, provide breaks to the team.
• Keep areas clean and organized following 5S.
• Perform other duties as assigned; wear PPE and follow GMPs.
• Work in a fast-paced team or alone as required.
• Communicate with team and Supervisor; coordinate with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Specialists, Technician, Lead, and Supervisor
• Trouble shoot machine issues and minimize downtime
• Responsible to produce a Quality product and meet sleeving goals
• All sleeving production paperwork must be completed accurately and legibly
• Final sleeve, cup, and cleaning verifications must be completed before an operator begins production. It is the operator's responsibility to seek out the Team Lead or Supervisor to make the proper verification before starting a line. The document must be signed by the person performing the verification to be acceptable
• Train and share knowledge with team members. Focus on improving specialist attention to quality and safety
• Be involved in implementing solutions and ideas in the sleeving department
• Assist Team Lead with breaks and operating equipment. The team lead and supervisor will determine whether PMs must be postponed depending on production needs
• As assigned by lead or supervisor, relieve all sleeving positions due to PTO, breaks, etc.
• Give breaks to the specialist reporting to you
• Keep areas clean and organized following the 5'S
• Other duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager
• Must be clean, safety and quality oriented, follow GMPs, wear proper PPE, and good housekeeping
• Work in a fast-paced team environment or alone when required
• Communication with team and Supervisor
• Work with an in all departments if needed
• Must be flexible to changing schedules and additional hours as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. High level of proficiency in working directly with headquarters level customers
• Be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours and lift, push or pull up to 60 pounds
• Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance

The salary range for this full‑time position is$22.25-$28.75, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
