Job summary

East Georgia Regional Medical Center, LLC is seeking a Sleep Technologist to administer sleep studies under physician direction and to score, document, and transmit sleep data accurately. The role includes patient assessments, equipment maintenance, and ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.

The Sleep Technologist will collect and project data as needed, communicate findings to physicians, and educate patients about sleep studies while maintaining compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sleep technology or related field.
• RPSGT or CPSGT certification required; BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep studies per protocol under Medical Director.
• Score sleep records and report findings to physicians.
• Document results and maintain records per policy.
• Calibrate and maintain sleep study equipment.
• Educate patients about procedures and comfort.
