Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate or associate degree in sleep technology or equivalent program.
• Certification by a national board and RPSGT credential.
• BLS certification and relevant licensure.

Responsibilities

• Apply surface electrodes and sensors to obtain EEG and other measurements per physician instructions.
• Operate polysomnograph equipment to record brain activity and physiological data.
• Observe polysomnograms and recognize abnormal patterns; notify physician if needed.
• Enter data into the computer and prepare reports for analysis by health professionals.
• Conduct sleep studies on both adults and pediatric patients, or be willing to train for pediatrics.
• Work independently with patients and perform other duties as assigned.
