Job summary

Valley Health System in Ridgewood, NJ seeks a Polysomnographic Trainee to perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis under the supervision of a licensed technologist and/or Clinical Director, including interventions as needed.

You must be enrolled in an accredited Sleep Technologist Training Program, preferably with a CAAHEP-accredited certificate or associate degree, and hold a current CPR (BCLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Sleep Technologist Training Program.
• Current CPR (BCLS) Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic testing and analysis under supervision.
• Assist with patient care and education during shifts.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with policies.
