Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current CPR BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Review history, physical information, medications, procedure request, and study protocol.
• Explain the procedure and orient the patient to the sleep center.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards.
• Perform physiological calibrations and PAP mask fitting as needed.
• Follow testing protocols to ensure data collection (MSLT, MWT, parasomnias, titration).
• Document observations and results to facilitate scoring and interpretation.
