Position Overview

Sleep Surgeon – University of Minnesota. The Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery seeks a full‑time American Board of Otolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery certified or eligible sleep surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank on the academic or clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for sleep apnea, snoring, and related disorders across tertiary and community sites.
• Engage in scholarly activities including research, teaching, and service as part of the academic mission.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in the university setting to advance patient care and innovation.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or equivalent, board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology.
• Completed a fellowship in sleep surgery; preferred board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology‑Sleep Medicine.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Minnesota and authorized to work in the United States.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: Salary with the University of Minnesota is based on academic effort, beginning at $52,000. Clinical salary is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total compensation is competitive with AAMC benchmarks.
