The Clinical Research Assistant at Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences, part of OHSU in Portland, will support multiple projects under Dr. Nicole Bowles.

Responsibilities include participant recruitment, data collection, physiological monitoring, and quality control, with potential involvement in REDCap, regulatory docs, data processing, and manuscript preparation. Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ability to work evenings/weekends, and comfort with on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with human subjects research.
• Experience collecting and processing physiological data in humans.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Recruitment and screening of volunteer participants by phone and in person.
• Data collection using noninvasive physiological monitoring devices (EKG, blood pressure, sleep, core temp).
• Manage and analyze data to address research hypotheses.
• Set up, test, and maintain equipment; ensure data quality and protocol adherence.
• Assist with REDCap, regulatory documentation, data processing, and literature reviews.
• Prepare scientific presentations or manuscripts as needed.
• Provide regulatory support and documentation.
