Job summary

The Detroit VA Medical Center, part of the Veterans Health Administration, is recruiting for a full-time Sleep Medicine Physician to join the John D. Dingell Sleep-Wake Disorders Center.

The role includes active sleep clinics, tele-sleep, ICU coverage, and collaborative clinical research. The candidate should be board-eligible or certified in sleep medicine, hold an MD/DO, and possess an unrestricted US license.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from LCME/COCA-accredited school or equivalent.
• Active medical license in any US state or territory.
• Board certification or eligibility in Sleep Medicine required.

Responsibilities

• Attend sleep clinics and tele-sleep program.
• Provide ICU coverage and pulmonary services as assigned.
• Lead and participate in teaching sleep medicine fellows and residents.
• Collaborate on quality improvement and EMR initiatives in the sleep center.
• Engage in clinical sleep research and scholarly activity.
