Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking a Polysomnographic Tech to provide polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services. You will set up and calibrate equipment, attach sensors, start recordings, and summarize data while maintaining equipment.

Requires a High School diploma, Non Degree Polysomnography Technology, and an Associate's in Respiratory Therapy; BLS is required and 1 year sleep disorders experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and licensing requirements as listed in the posting.
• Experience in a Sleep Disorders setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation and sleep services including polysomnography, diagnostics and therapy.
• Sets up and calibrates polysomnographic recordings and monitoring equipment.
• Applies sensors to patients and initiates sleep recordings.
• Summarizes data from recordings and maintains lab equipment.
