Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Supervisory Polysomnographic Technician to lead the VA Sleep Lab, supervise Sleep Techs and ICTs, and assure efficient day-to-day operations at the Anchorage Sleep Lab.

The role requires advanced KSAs, supervision of a diverse team, training duties, and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards. Strong leadership and clinical oversight are essential.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of complex and non-standard sleep procedures and techniques.
  • Ability to plan and assist in establishing a completely integrated sleep treatment program.
  • Ability to evaluate new sleep products and equipment and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Sleep Lab operations and staff scheduling.
  • Provide orientation and training to Sleep Techs and ICTs.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other standards.
