CDL-A Dedicated Grocery Driver | East Granby, CT Yard Hub | Home Daily & $95,000/Year Average

1. High Earning Power & Cash Incentives

• Bring home a strong annual average of $95,000 per year ( $0.500 to $0.540 CPM ).
• Pocket a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for a limited time! Stack your check with a $50/day shift rate (when completing all 5 scheduled workdays), $30–$31.50 per NYC Borough stop , $30–$31.50 per Boston stop , $23–$24.50 per non-NYC stop ($19 base stop rate), $19–$20.50 for non-liftgate stops , $100 layover pay (hotel fully covered if a layover occurs), $15/hr detention pay (after the 1st hour), $160/day holiday pay , and safety performance bonuses. Paid orientation/training pays $200/day.

2. Freight, Operations & Equipment

• Drivers are domiciled out of the East Granby, CT Yard facility and start/stop their shift locally at the terminal, supporting a regional supermarket distribution network.
• Operating within a 250-mile radius covering NJ, CT, MA, VT, RI, and NH ( averaging 1,865 miles/week ). Hauling fresh and frozen grocery inventory on 46'–53' temperature-controlled reefer trailers (multistop store deliveries averaging 31 stops/week). Driver assists with unloading 1–3 pallets per stop using an automatic or manual pallet jack. Drives modern automatic slip-seat day cabs.

3. Shifts & Home Time Options

• Daily Home Time: Get back to your own bed after every single shift! Choose between two 12–14 hour day-shift schedule options:
  • Option 1: Sunday through Thursday schedule (start times between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM).
  • Option 2: Tuesday through Saturday schedule (start times between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM).
  • (Note: Drivers must expect to handle holiday dispatches as needed).

4. Qualifications & Screening Protocols

• Driver Standard: Must hold at least 3 months of Class-A tractor-trailer experience in the past 6 months. Personal commuter transportation to and from the yard daily is required.
• Toxicology: Strict safety standards requiring clean results on mandatory pre-employment dual-panel hair follicle and urine drug tests.
