Job summary

Providence is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to perform and monitor diagnostic sleep studies in a high-quality clinical setting. You will follow AASM guidelines under supervision and collaborate with the Medical Director and team.

The role includes patient hookup, equipment interfacing, monitoring, troubleshooting, scoring, and participation in PAP titrations and follow-up education. Strong credentialing is required on hire with BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in polysomnography or related field is required.
  • BRPT/ABPT credential (RPSGT or equivalent) is required upon hire.
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor sleep studies following AASM guidelines under supervision.
  • Hook up patients, interface with equipment, monitor and troubleshoot during studies.
  • Score studies and participate in PAP titrations and follow-up education.

Education
