Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in West Virginia is seeking a qualified individual to perform diagnostic sleep studies related to sleep disorders. The role requires a current Allied Health Credential and any relevant certifications within a specified timeframe. Responsibilities include coordinating patient testing procedures, ensuring compliance with policies, and interacting with patients and their families to explain procedures. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and knowledge of sleep disorders.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current Allied Health Credential or equivalent.
  • Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
  • Designated registry as a Polysomnography Tech must be obtained within 30 months.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling of inpatient and outpatient procedures.
  • Assure completion of patient testing procedures on time.
  • Perform sleep studies in accordance with policy and procedures.

Skills

Ability to perform sleep studies

Education

Associates Degree in an Allied Health Field
