Responsibilities

• Assist in the humane handling and processing of livestock on the slaughter floor.
• Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with USDA regulations.
• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment and tools used during processing.
• Monitor and report any issues related to animal welfare and processing efficiency.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of slaughtering techniques.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality output.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in the packaging and labeling of finished products for distribution.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a meat processing or slaughterhouse environment is preferred, but willing to train
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of animal handling and slaughtering techniques is a plus.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
