Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Architect with strong Data Architecture expertise to support an in‑flight initiative focused on building a pricing application. This role will provide immediate capacity to an existing team of six platform developers, performing a full architectural review of the current solution and optimizing an established design spanning Power Platform (front end) and Databricks/Snowflake (backend). The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience across Power Apps, Power Automate, and modern data engineering and is comfortable stepping into a partially built solution to strengthen quality, stability, and performance.

Architectural & Technical Leadership
  • Perform a full end‑to‑end architectural review of the existing pricing application across Power Platform, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Optimize the already‑defined architecture, identifying gaps, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for Power Platform, data modeling, integration design, and automation patterns.
Development & Optimization
  • Enhance and optimise Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and integrations with Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Implement improvements to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of the pricing solution.
  • Review and refine backend data pipelines, SQL logic, and data transformations as needed.
Quality Engineering & Delivery Support
  • Build and execute end‑to‑end testing strategies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Perform bug resolution and troubleshoot issues across both front‑end and back‑end layers.
  • Collaborate with the existing team of six developers to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with solution architecture.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with product owners, developers, and data engineers to validate technical decisions.
  • Communicate architectural recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and sprint planning as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Power Automate (expert level)
  • Hands‑on experience building and optimising Power Apps
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Power Platform flows
  • Strong understanding of Databricks and Snowflake data architecture
  • Ability to conduct thorough architectural reviews and produce actionable recommendations
  • Strong SQL skills for debugging, optimisation, and backend analysis

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
  • Experience building custom connectors or plug‑ins in C#
  • Agile delivery experience
  • Power BI (report development or model optimisation)
  • Background in pricing, financial modelling, or workflow‑driven applications

Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
