Slalom is seeking a Fire Coordinator in Los Angeles to strengthen their Climate Resilience team. We are seeking a Fire Coordinator to support a local utility’s Climate Resilience team. The Fire Coordinator plays a critical role in strengthening the utility’s Emergency Management capability amid increasing wildfire risk. This position serves as a key liaison between the utility, first responders, and internal field crews, ensuring safe, coordinated operations around power and water infrastructure during emergencies and post‑incident recovery periods.
Reporting within the Emergency Management function, the Fire Coordinator leads training and preparedness efforts focused on fire response, responder safety near energized and pressurized infrastructure, and effective integration with the Incident Command System. The role supports both wildfire suppression and all‑hazards response while contributing to a culture of safety, resilience, and operational readiness. This is a contract position with an opportunity to apply for the permanent role.
