SKIMS Beauty is seeking a Packaging Development Manager to create innovative, elevated packaging solutions across the SKIMS Beauty portfolio. The role blends design excellence with technical rigor, translating brand vision into manufacturable, compliant packaging and supporting product launches.

You will collaborate with Product Development, Brand, Creative, Regulatory, and Operations to deliver iconic, operational packaging that reflects SKIMS Beauty’s premium positioning and sustainability

Qualifications

4+ years of packaging development experience in beauty, cosmetics, consumer products, or luxury goods.
Working knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and production workflows.
Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced product development environments.

Responsibilities

Package design and development across primary and secondary packaging.
Ensure packaging reflects brand identity and premium positioning.
Collaborate with Product Development, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to ensure compliant, scalable, manufacturable packaging.
Prepare production-ready files, specs, and documentation; review proofs and pre-production runs.
Partner with packaging suppliers and manufacturers on feasibility, cost, and timelines; participate in vendor reviews.

We are seeking a Packaging Development Manager to create innovative, elevated, and commercially scalable packaging solutions that bring the SKIMS Beauty brand to life across all products and channels

Role Overview

The Packaging Development Manager will be responsible for developing primary and secondary packaging across SKIMS Beauty portfolio. This role blends creative excellence with technical rigor-translating brand vision into manufacturable, compliant, and best-in-class packaging solutions.

You will partner closely with Product Development, Brand, Creative, Regulatory, and Operations to deliver packaging that is both iconic and operationally sound.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Design &; Development

Liaise with senior packaging designer on primary and secondary packaging across all beauty categories.
Translate brand strategy and product briefs into distinctive, functional packaging concepts.
Develop dielines, structures, and artwork in collaboration with packaging designer, engineering and suppliers.

Brand Expression &; Visual Excellence

Ensure all packaging reflects SKIMS Beauty's visual identity, tone, and premium positioning.
Partner with Creative and Brand to evolve packaging systems and design standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product Development, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to ensure packaging is compliant, scalable, and manufacturable.
Support packaging readiness for new product launches.

Technical Execution

Prepare production-ready files, specs, and documentation.
Review proofs, samples, and pre-production runs for accuracy and quality.

Vendor &; Production Support

Partner with packaging suppliers and manufacturers on feasibility, cost, and timelines.
Participate in vendor reviews, sampling, and troubleshooting.

Sustainability &; Innovation

Support sustainable packaging initiatives and material innovation.
Identify opportunities to improve functionality, cost, and environmental impact.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

4+ years of packaging development experience in beauty, cosmetics (strongly preferred), consumer products, or luxury goods.
Working knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and production workflows.
Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced product development environments.
