Job summary

The New Jewish Home Career Center is seeking passionate individuals for its Young Adult Certified Nursing Assistance (C.N.A.) Program. This unique program provides free training and prepares the next generation of healthcare workers for careers in nursing homes throughout Manhattan and the Bronx.

Graduates will receive guaranteed employment, an hourly pay increase from $16 to $21, and the opportunity to join the 1199 Union. Stipends for travel are also included.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing compassionate care.
• Completion of C.N.A. Certification upon graduation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive Young Adult C.N.A. Program.
• Provide care to residents in nursing homes.

SkillSpring is looking to hire the next generation of healthcare workers through our unique and comprehensive Young Adult Certified Nursing Assistance (C.N.A.) Program at various Nursing Homes throughout Manhattan and the Fort George area of the Bronx.

• This program is FREE
• Pays an hourly rate of $16 per hour with stipends (i.e. MetroCard’s for travel, etc.)
• Upon graduation and successful completion of your C.N.A. Certification, you are guaranteed:
  • Employment
  • An hourly increase to $21 per hour
  • The ability to become a member of the 1199 Union after a certain period of time.
